“Let the wise also hear and gain in learning, and the discerning acquire skill...” Proverbs 1:5

Through study of the Bible and other writings and through appreciation of art we prepare ourselves to live life so as to have a positive effect on ourselves, our families, communities, and the world. By conducting these studies within our faith community we also share experiences of life and learn from each other as well.

Adult Education

Adult Christian Education is a spiritual discipline for those who seek to love God with their whole mind (Mark 12:30).  Series are designed to shore up one’s Biblical knowledge while expanding one’s interpretation of the material.  We draw on current events, classic Christian theology, literature and the arts to enrich our discussions, and participants bring their own, particular experiences of God to the table. Several programs operate on a weekly basis; others are offered as limited series.  Everyone at FPC is encouraged to take advantage of these groups, either as an ongoing spiritual discipline, or else seasonally. Check out the latest opportunities in Adult Education.

Sunday School

Children are grouped by grade: Kindergarten and 1st Grade; 2nd-4th Grade; and 5th-7th Grade. Children are welcomed in the gymnasium for Sunday School after the Passing of the Peace in the 11:00 o’clock service. They can be met again immediately after worship near the gymnasium. Sunday School is offered  late September through late June. All children are encouraged and welcome to attend.
